Job Skills / Requirements Unarmed Security Officer- Weekends Sat & Sun (7Am-3PM) $14.57-$15.50/Hr. Job Description: - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- TN Unarmed Security License
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturday, and Sunday).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Patrol & Surveillance
- Conduct regular walking patrols to enhance safety and identify/report concerns.
- Monitor facility access points; verify IDs and credentials.
- Monitor surveillance feeds for signs of threats or breaches.
Incident Response & Reporting
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents using established protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations.
- Perform routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors and managing security systems.
Customer Service & Policy Enforcement
- Assist visitors and employees, address concerns professionally.
- Enforce security procedures per Security Post Instructions.
- Ensure compliance with SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
Minimum Qualifications:
- The State of Tennessee requires that you must have or obtain and maintain a valid Security Officer/Guard License when providing any regulated activities in the State of Tennessee
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Minimum:
- Ability to perform in high-paced, potentially stressful environments.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
- Ability to stay calm, problem-solve, and act effectively in critical situations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use a tablet for reporting.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break.
- Sit for at least 1 hour without break.
- Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping.
- Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum:
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: No Experience Required
- Preferred:
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years of Verifiable Customer Service
