Role Description:

The Radiation Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Collins, CO. This position is responsible for accurately delivering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, following established protocols and physician orders. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and positioning patients, operating linear accelerators and related equipment, verifying treatment plans and dosimetry data, and monitoring patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort. The Radiation Therapist collaborates closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff, maintains detailed treatment records, and adheres to all radiation safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves patient education, clear communication about procedures, and active participation in quality assurance and equipment checks.

Qualifications:

• Certification or eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.

• Strong knowledge of Radiation Safety practices, including regulatory compliance and safe operation of radiation equipment.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within organizational timeframe.
\n
• Prior experience in a radiation oncology setting is preferred but not required.
